A WALK WITH WALT WHITMAN

150918 Tour promo-d

This is the  latest installment of John Beshaw-Farrell’s on-going series of performances, events, lectures, readings  and spontaneous outbursts which all appear under the rubric “Walt Whitman: Time Traveler”  (see the Facebook page here)

These 90 minute programs features Mr. Whitman and his young accomplice as they lead you through the literary world of Brooklyn’s DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights. While the neighborhood’s native son will regale you with many stories of his own and read some choice selections from his poems, he is as likely to  show you where Truman Capote or Hart Crane once lived.  (Mr. Whitman can’t resist a good piece of gossip about his fellow writers even if they were born long after his death)

Using the menu below pick a performance you would like to book for.  Booking on-line saves you $5 off the fee charged on the day.

PLEASE NOTE – All tours will be limited to 12 people.   When a performance date vanishes that means it’s booked out.
